After its success in 2012 the "Cappellini NEXT" project continues. This year at the Salone del
Mobile Cappellini presents a selection of prototypes as they were originally intended by the
designers in a first phase, before the company's intervention. This initiative best expresses
Cappellini's spirit of exploration and research, beyond any commercial interest: the products are not presented as prototypes after the intervention or contamination of the brand, but proposed as they were originally conceived by the designers. more

The Aram Gallery - New Exhibition: Prototypes & Experiments VII
The Aram Gallery is continuing its exhibition series Prototypes & Experiments showing models and prototypes sourced from the studios of established and emerging designers. This display series focuses on the important role model making plays in a design process and charts the development of an object through its physical, experimental steps. Moving Materials during DDW in Eindhoven
Moving Materials, Material Senses travelling exhibition will visit Eindhoven during the Dutch Design Week. After a successful start in Essen, the exhibition will move on to Eindhoven.

Special exhibition "Moving Materials" - inspiring materials at
the red dot design musuem
New materials inspire designers and architects to constantly develop new products, and promise consumers a better quality of life and living. From 3 until 29 July 2012, the red dot design museum presents “Moving Materials”, a special exhibition which shows a selection of materials offering possibilities that make sense and are sensuous at the same time.
